It was a normal day in your village, And You were going out to see your horse. On your way, you noticed it was a bit gloomy out. "Maybe a storms coming in." You thought while looking to the sky. But You shrugged it off and continued walking.
Once you made it to the fenced in area, your horse came over and started to make noises as if were happy to see you.

You peered closely at the gem resting on your palm. You looked as the setting sun reflected throughout the blue gem, making it sparkle in the dim light. You quickly tied the soft leather cord you had found earlier around the jewel, securing it around your neck. It settled down on your cloth top that wrapped tightly around your upper chest. You allowed a moment for your lungs to adjust to the air before turning to the setting sun. You watched as the blue waves slowly turned to a

You exhaled, trying to get in the path of the air her fan was taking. “Of

“But it hurts, fratello!”
“I told you to stop moving!!”
“Veeee…”
“What…” you say as you open the door to Lovino’s room, “the heck.”
“Oh! You came just in time, _____! Can you help untangle our curls?” Feliciano asks very child-like.
You rubbed your temples. “So it’s just hair…”

"Why do you look so afraid, liebe? I won't bite... much. How about you come sit with me and make yourself more comfortable?" The pirate stretched out his arm, offering his hand to you. You stayed with your back against the wall of his room, shaking in your spot. You were afraid of what was going to happen to you but you knew you had no choice. You agreed to this.
---Several hours earlier---
You rolled over your beaten mattress and shivered with the sudden chill that was sent down your spine. Without opening your eyes, you move your arm to embrace your little sister and her warmth only to find her spot em

Clouds billowed across the horizon, above the sea. Near this sea, on land, was a fair sized port town, bustling and teeming with life. Ships and carriages like came from this bay town. Animals, food, clothing, slaves, and the like were pushed, pulled, dragged and killed on these every day.
At least, in the market side of town. In the urban part, houses, huts, and apartment like buildings lined the streets. Happy, smiling children had fun in small secluded yards as the French flag f

Depths ~ Pirate England x Mermaid Reader
Salt burned his eyes endlessly and yet he still held his breath, holding onto his life desperately, which was fleeing his grasp and disappearing amongst the ocean. There just had to be a storm, didn't there? He just had to be thrown off the ship when they sailed over the monstrous waves. He didn't know how far down he was, or how far away the ship had gone, but that wasn't in his mind. The pressure of being so deep sent agony radiating into his head from his ears, a high pitched ringing just getting louder and louder the longer he stayed down. He would of swam up by now, however, something was weighing him down, not even the air that burned i
